Meet Our Technicians

Jess, CVT

Jess shares her home with her husband, three dogs, and two cats. She graduated in 2001 from the Medical Institute of Minnesota as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has been working at Prior Lake Pet Hospital since that time. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and recently started dog agility with her dog, Stoli.

Lisa, CVA

Lisa graduated from Minneapolis School of Business. She has worked at the Prior Lake Pet Hospital since 1994 as a veterinary technician. When not working, Lisa enjoys reading, gardening, and being with her family. She lives with one ‘part-time’ dog, one bird, and two cats.

Andrea, CVT

Andrea graduated from Ridgewater College in 2000 and has been a member of the Prior Lake Pet Hospital team ever since. She grew up on a farm, so her love for animals started early in life. She has three cats and one dog. Andrea enjoys cooking in her spare time.

Jill, CVT

Jill graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1999. Jill joined the Prior Lake Pet Hospital team in 2000 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She shares her home with her husband Nick and their crew of furry pets; Bender, the Papillion; Boone, the Lab; Clifford, the German Shorthaired Pointer, and Thomas, the Domestic Shorthair cat. She enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family, friends, and her four legged kids.

Jenny, VT

Jenny shares her home with her husband and their daughters Evelyn and Cecilia. Their family of pets includes; Josie, a Great Dane and Rambo the cat. Jenny has worked her way up the ladder at Prior Lake Pet Hospital. She started when she was 16 as a kennel worker and loved it so much she decided become a veterinary technician. She graduated from Argosy University in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to classic car shows on the weekends.

Teresa, CVT

Teresa started at the Prior Lake Pet Hospital in 1998 as a Kennel Assistant. She went on to school and in 2003 graduated from Argosy University as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, volleyball, and spending time with her family and friends. Her furry felines are Pumpkin and Butternut.

Andrea, CVT

Andrea joined the Prior Lake Pet Hospital in August of 2003 and graduated from Argosy University in 2005 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She shares her home with her husband, two daughters, a dog named ‘Kit’, a cat named ‘Happy’, and two goldfish, “Slimey” and “Goldie”. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Nadine, CVT

Nadine graduated from Minnesota School of Business Shakopee in September 2010 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She joined our staff in February of 2011. Nadine has a busy household with her husband Richard. Together they have five four-legged children; Katie the Border Collie Lab mix, Emma the Rat Terrier, Vincent the Terrier mix, and two cats; Henry and Marvin. In her spare time Nadine enjoys doing yard work, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Meet Our Veterinary Assistants

Aja

Aja has been working at the Prior Lake Pet Hospital for over 2 years. She has a full house with her husband, three daughters and two Bulldogs, Frank and Lulu. Outside of work Aja loves to be outside with her family, running, and taking trips to Disney World!

Anne

Anne joined the Prior Lake Pet Hospital 6 years ago as an animal handler/veterinary assistant. She is married with two adult children. Her furry family consists of a cat named Satchmo; two Cockatiels, Peaches and Herb and a fish named Hannibal. She keeps herself busy by biking, camping, waterskiing, snowmobiling, and traveling.

Melissa

Melissa has worked at the Prior Lake Pet Hospital since 1994 as a veterinary assistant. When she is not at working she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, camping, horseback riding, and racing.

Meet Our Reception Staff

Kari

Kari has been working as a part time receptionist since 2004. She makes her trek to us from Golden Valley where she lives with her husband, Joel and her pets; Glacier, Mac, and Junior Mint. In her spare time Kari enjoys spending time with her horses, canoeing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.

Erika

Erika has been a full time receptionist with us since August 2000. Erika shares her home with her husband, Nick and their three pets; Bocephus, a Boxer/Rottweiler mix; Kelli, a Boxer and a cat named Remy. Outside of work she spends a lot of her time doing fun things with her dogs. Erika also spends time with her husband, camps, reads, travels, and goes to the cabin.

Sharon

Sharon joined the staff of PLPH in November 2010. She recently moved to Minnesota from Ohio where she worked for the Town and Country Animal Clinic as a receptionist for 14 years. She and her late husband, Bill, have 4 sons and 2 grandsons, all of whom reside in Minnesota. She is the proud mom of Kalou, a 4 year old white Siberian Husky and recently acquired Sasha, a 4 year old German Shepard (previously known as a 'granddog"!). She enjoys reading, playing the piano, watching sports of any kind, but most of all, being a Grandma to Peyton and Zach.

Darlene

As an employee for over 23 years, Darlene has had the wonderful experience of being a part of the growth and nurturing of God’s special creatures. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her four grandsons and grand dog; reading; taking walks and working in the yard.

Tippy Stuart

Tippy Stuart became a part of the Prior Lake Pet Hospital family in 2003. Tippy got his name because, as a kitten, he would always tip his head to the side in response to someone talking to him. Tippy enjoys greeting clients daily as he sits on our front counter in the mail bin. He loves all of the extra attention his good looks get him. He will be the first to let you know that he is a beautiful cat! Tippy has his favorite cat clients. You know your cat is one of them if you find Tippy putting his arm under the exam room door and meowing to say "Hi". Be sure to stop by to pet Tippy and remind him of how beautiful he is!
